Advancing Integrity: KEPHIS Trains Second Cohort of Integrity Assurance Officers in Partnership with EACC
KEPHIS in partnership with the Ethics and Anti- corruption (EACC) has just concluded a 5 day training for the second cohort of Integrity Assurance Officers (IAOs) at the KEPHIS headquarters from 17th to 21st November 2025.
The training was part of the Service's ongoing efforts to strengthen it's integrity framework and reinforce a culture of zero tolerance for bribery and corruption.
The program focused on equipping IAOs with knowledge and skills required to actively support the Service's anti corruption initiatives, while ensuring strict adherence to the reporting requirements outlined by the EACC
KEPHIS stamps on its commitment of protecting the country's food security and promoting safe trade with integrity as part of it's core values.
The training was officially opened by the Corporate Secretary and Director of Legal Services, Ms. Faith Kathure, who emphasized the importance of integrity , accountability and proactive compliance in safeguarding the organization 's mandate and public trust.
Also in attendance was the management team from the KEPHIS headquarters and it's regional offices across the country.
