Day Two of Rose Cut-Flower Growers Training at Lake Naivasha Resort – September 11, 2025
On this second day of training, held on September 11, 2025, rose cut-flower growers gathered at Lake Naivasha Resort to deepen their understanding of the Systems Approach and Compliance with EU Regulations a key initiative for strengthening Kenya’s floriculture industry.

Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service joined growers and other stakeholders to address the management of False Codling Moth (FCM) through a systems approach This integrated pest management strategy incorporates biological, cultural, and chemical control measures to sustainably reduce FCM populations.

By adopting this approach, Kenyan rose exporters are better positioned to meet the European Union’s phytosanitary requirements, ensuring continued access to one of the country’s most important markets.
