Developing , Review and Finalisation of Diagnostic Protocals
KEPHIS Plant Health team with support from TradeMark Africa have this week convened at the Entim Sidai wellness Sanctuary for a hands-on workshop to develop,review and finalize on the dignostic protocals.
The protocals will be used at the KEPHIS Plant Health Laboratories and will aid in the detection of pest and diseases. This workshop aligns with our strategic plan (KRA 5: Plant Health and KRA 3: Trade Facilitation) to enhance regulatory complaince,trade facilitation and market access for Kenya's Agricultural produce and products.
The teams who are all involved in pest diagnostics, were drawn from KEPHIS; Headquarters, Plant Quarantine and Biosecurity Station, Mombasa and Nakuru Regional offices.
