Ms. Pauline Mcharo, is a Deputy Solicitor General in the Office of the Attorney General & Department of Justice, she heads the Legal Advisory and Research Division. She served as Deputy Chief Negotiator of the Kenya-US Free Trade Agreement and Kenya -US Strategic Trade and Investment Agreement. She represents the Attorney General in the WTO National TBT Committee, WTO National SPS Committee and other multi - stakeholder forms.

She has represented the Government in complex international investment and commercial arbitrations (in ICSID, ICC, LCIA), assisting in resolution of Territorial and Maritime Delimitation disputes and advising on International Law matters.

Ms. Mcharo previously worked for Procter & Gamble as Government Relations Specialist in Sub - Saharan Africa 9 countries, she also worked in UNCTAD, Geneva and has consulted in international trade consulting assignments in Geneva and Uganda.

She holds a Master in International Law from the Graduate Institute, Geneva; LLM in International Trade and Investment Law in Africa from the University of Pretoria jointly with University of Amsterdam (With Distinction) and LLB. Bachelor of Laws ( Upper Second Class Honors ) from the University of Nairobi.
