INSPECTOR TRAINING ON NURSERIES AND MOTHER- BLOCKS CERTIFICATION PROTOCOL
KEPHIS conducted a two - day inspector's training on nurseries and mother-blocks certification protocols. The training was conducted both virtually and physically. About 68 recently employed and deployed inspectors were trained.The activity aims to enhance availability of pest-free planting materials, conservation of germplasm and support government's BETA programs under food security and nutrition. The process involves inspection and audits of Nursery facilities and seedlings to verify phytosanitary compliance.
