KEPHIS Showcases Agricultural Regulatory Excellence as CS Mutahi Kagwe Visits Mombasa ASK Show Stand

Today, 3rd September 2026, KEPHIS was honoured to host the Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, Hon. Mutahi Kagwe, at the KEPHIS stand during the ongoing Mombasa ASK Show.

The CS was taken around the KEPHIS stand by the KEPHIS Board led by Board Chair Hon. Joseph M’eruaki and Team and was taken through the KEPHIS mandate and our role in safeguarding Kenya’s agriculture, including inspection at the Port of Mombasa to prevent the entry and spread of pests and diseases that could cause devastating losses to the agricultural sector.
